Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking our services

Welcome to Sneha Travelling Agency. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our travel services, including but not limited to tour packages, car rentals, homestay bookings, and Char Dham Yatra services. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Sneha Travelling Agency. A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.

1.2 Advance Payment: To confirm your booking, an advance payment (typically 30-50% of the total package cost) is required. The balance amount must be paid as per the schedule agreed upon at the time of booking.

1.3 Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfers, UPI payments, and online payment gateways. All payments should be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

1.4 Price Validity: All prices are valid for the period mentioned in the quotation. Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in fuel costs, accommodation rates, or other external factors.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Customer:

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before the travel date: Full refund minus processing charges (5% of total amount)
  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before the travel date: 50% refund of the total amount
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the travel date: No refund
  • No-show or cancellation on the day of travel: No refund

2.2 Cancellation by Company: In the event of cancellation by Sneha Travelling Agency due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will provide a full refund or offer alternative dates. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred by the customer.

2.3 Refund Processing: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-15 business days to the original payment method used for booking.

3. Travel Documents and Requirements

3.1 Valid Documents: Customers are responsible for carrying valid identification documents (Aadhar card, passport, or driving license) and any other documents required for travel, including medical certificates for high-altitude destinations.

3.2 Medical Fitness: For Char Dham Yatra and high-altitude treks, customers must provide a medical fitness certificate. Customers with pre-existing medical conditions should consult their physician before booking.

3.3 Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal accidents. Sneha Travelling Agency is not responsible for any medical expenses or losses not covered by insurance.

4. Services and Accommodations

4.1 Accommodation: We strive to provide accommodations as per the package description. However, in case of unavailability, we reserve the right to provide alternative accommodations of similar standard without prior notice.

4.2 Transportation: All vehicles provided are well-maintained and driven by experienced drivers. However, we are not liable for delays or cancellations due to weather conditions, roadblocks, or mechanical failures beyond our control.

4.3 Itinerary Changes: We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements.

4.4 Service Standards: While we maintain high service standards, we are not responsible for the quality of services provided by third-party vendors (hotels, restaurants, etc.) unless specifically guaranteed by us.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Conduct: Customers are expected to behave responsibly and respect local customs, traditions, and the environment. Any damage to property or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

5.2 Personal Belongings: Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. Sneha Travelling Agency is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items during the trip.

5.3 Health and Safety: Customers must follow safety instructions provided by guides and drivers. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries resulting from negligence or failure to follow instructions.

5.4 Timeliness: Customers must adhere to the scheduled timings. We are not responsible for missed services due to customer delays.

6. Force Majeure

Sneha Travelling Agency shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, strikes, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or refunds as per our cancellation policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.

7.2 Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

7.3 Third-Party Services: We act as an intermediary for third-party services (hotels, restaurants, etc.). Our liability is limited to the services directly provided by us.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Sneha Travelling Agency and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our content is strictly prohibited.

9. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

10.2 Dispute Resolution Process: In case of any dispute, we encourage customers to contact us first to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be referred to arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015.

11. Modifications to Terms

Sneha Travelling Agency reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
